Team Ineos have signed a deal with Giro d’Italia champion Richard Carapaz .
After winning his first Grand Tour in June 26, the Ecuadorian rider, will make the movement.
He will join a group comprising three Grand Tour champions – Geraint Thomas, Chris Froome and Egan Bernal, who won this year’s Tour de France.
“This really is a excellent chance for me to keep my development and growth as a rider,” explained Carapaz.
“The team continues to go from strength to strength, year after year. I already know a lot of the riders on the group and I am actually looking forward to working with everybody at Team Ineos from following season.”
After enduring a string of accidents in an accident a four-time Tour de France winner, froome, missed this year’s march but the Briton is hopeful of making the group next year in France.
